Christine obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Computer Science from the University of Missouri in America and Master of Science degree majoring in Software, Systems & Information Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK. She also has a Teaching Certificate from the Hong Kong Institute of Education (now known as the Education University of Hong Kong). Before embarking on her teaching career, Christine worked as an Analyst Programmer and a Systems Analyst. Christine has over 20 years of experience teaching Computer Science in a post-secondary school as a Lecturer. She is also experienced in teaching  Computer Science courses, including Python and Java programming, at I/GCSE, GCE and IB levels, as well as in Mathematics tutoring at pre-IGCSE and IBMYP levels.

Isaac graduated with a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (minor in Mathematics) from the University of Hong Kong. Isaac has considerable experience in teaching Mathematics, Statistics and Physics. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics at a post-secondary institute. He also taught senior form Physics and Mathematics at Sacred Heart Canossian College and Diocesan Girls’ School. Isaac has also done private one-on-one and small group tutoring in Physics, Mathematics and Statistics at GCSE, GCE A-level, IB and junior and sophomore university levels.

Ivan obtained his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. While currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Manchester, he also works as a part-time cover supervisor for a high school in the UK. He has been an examiner for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program for eight years. He is experienced in teaching Science subjects at IGCSE/GCSE/IB/HKDSE levels.

Ivan had been the headmaster of one of the top international schools in Shenzhen, China. He has over 14 years of teaching experience in international schools, and over 20 years of experience as a tutor. Ivan also worked as a senior research associate at the University of Hong Kong. He published a research paper on how to enhance the quality of teaching at university. He and his lab mates also worked closely on improving cardiovascular imaging and cancer therapy. These research experiences have imbued him with extensive knowledge of drug chemistry and material science, making him an expert in real-world applications of chemistry, physics and mathematics. As some of you may know, how chemistry is applied in today’s society is an important part of I/GCSE Chemistry. Ivan’s knowledge and experiences will help his students prepare for challenges of the IB/GCE/IGCSE/GCSE/HKDSE exams.

Dr. Kristy holds a PhD in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. With over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students.

Dr. Kristy has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at universities and published numerous high-impact papers in esteemed academic journals. An award-winning scientist, Dr. Kristy has been interviewed by various media outlets on public health issues. She has also delivered talks at numerous seminars and conferences. Her overseas teaching experience has further enriched her global perspective and teaching approaches.

Over the years, Dr. Kristy has gained extensive experience teaching science subjects to students from local and international schools. She specializes in preparing students for IGCSE, GCSE, GCE A-level, IAL, IB, AP and HKDSE exams.

Dr. Kristy’s university research work made significant contributions to public health in testing surgical masks during the COVID pandemic. Work of this kind has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of scientific principles and their real-world applications. This expertise allows her to teach complex scientific concepts with clarity and relevance, using practical examples from daily life to enhance student understanding. A caring and patient educator, Dr. Kristy is dedicated to meeting her students’ specific needs and helping them achieve their academic goals with confidence.

Sukriti attained a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hong Kong. She has also achieved top results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma, with a final score of 42/45 (grades of 7 in Biology HL, Chemistry HL and English Language and Literature). With over 8 years of tutoring experience, she has worked with local and international school students at IGCSE and IB levels. Sukriti is passionate about fostering a genuine interest in learning and promoting personal growth among her students. She is committed to enhancing the learning experience by simplifying complex concepts and questions. She provides comprehensive notes and exercises to ensure her students have a good grasp of the subjects.

Twinky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the City University of Hong Kong. With over 12 years of experience teaching Chemistry and Biology to both local and international school students, she specializes in helping students excel in public examinations such as GCE, IGCSE, IAL, IBDP and HKDSE.

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Taiwan, she is deeply committed to education and student success. She creates tailor-made notes and exercises designed to maximize efficiency, enabling students to achieve outstanding results. Many of her students have achieved exceptional scores, including over 98% UMS in IAL examinations and straight grade 9s in their IGCSE examinations.

Jyotsna holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She previously obtained her bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences. During her time as a student, Jyotsna’s research revolved around the development of novel therapeutic protein complexes for six different human cancer cell lines. She also published five different scientific research papers.

Jyotsna specializes in IGCSE and IB MYP English and Chemistry as well as IGCSE, A level and IBDP Biology. She can translate high-level scientific research into engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons. Her goal is not only to inspire the next generation of scientists by integrating real-world laboratory insights into her classroom, but also to enhance student literacy, critical analysis and academic writing to drive student curiosity and academic excellence. Her expertise also includes Internal Assessment (IA) writing guidance and Personal Statement writing assistance.

Asad is an experienced tutor in DSE, IGCSE and IB Biology, English, General Sciences and Geography. He is currently in his last year of a Bachelor’s degree program in Nursing at the University of Hong Kong. He has also assisted students in mock examination training, as well as in writing personal statements and doing practice interviews for university applications.

Daniel graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc in Chemistry. He later earned his MPhil in Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University where he is pursuing a PhD in Chemistry.  He has worked as a research assistant at the universities and taught chemistry and biology both in Scotland and Hong Kong.

Daniel finished his secondary education in Scotland.  He attained his Higher National Diploma (HND) with distinction in Applied Chemistry and Higher National Certificate (HNC) with merit in Applied Science.  Through teaching during his university years in Edinburgh, Daniel became a registered STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) ambassador.  He is passionate about inspiring students from different backgrounds to succeed at university level and received several Edinburgh Awards for volunteering at the LEAPS summer school. He can teach Chemistry up to IB/GCE A-Levels.

Chi Lung received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. He achieved brilliant results in HKCEE and HKAL (A in Physics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, etc. in HKCEE). Chi Lung possesses more than 18 years of experience teaching local and international school students Science and Mathematics at pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, GCE and IB levels. He is skilful in explaining difficult examination questions in an easy-to-understand approach.

He ranked first academically in his UBC graduating class. Before that, he received the highest grade of 5 in AP Calculus and AP Physics exams in addition to a perfect score of 800 in his SAT II Math test and excellent results in SAT I Math. He has five years of industry experience in engineering research and development in Sunnyvale, California and Vancouver.
