Chi Lung received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. He achieved brilliant results in HKCEE and HKAL (A in Physics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, etc. in HKCEE). Chi Lung possesses more than 18 years of experience teaching local and international school students Science and Mathematics at pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, GCE and IB levels. He is skilful in explaining difficult examination questions in an easy-to-understand approach.

Christine obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Computer Science from the University of Missouri in America and Master of Science degree majoring in Software, Systems & Information Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK. She also has a Teaching Certificate from the Hong Kong Institute of Education (which is now known as the Education University of Hong Kong). Before embarking on her teaching career, Christine worked as an Analyst Programmer and a Systems Analyst. Christine has over 20 years of experience teaching Computer Science in a post secondary school as a Lecturer. She is also experienced in teaching Computer Science courses, including Python and Java programming, at I/GCSE, GCE and IB levels.

Isaac graduated with a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (minor in Mathematics) from the University of Hong Kong. Isaac has considerable experience in teaching Mathematics, Statistics and Physics. He has more than 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics at a post-secondary institute. He also taught senior form Physics and Mathematics at Sacred Heart Canossian College and Diocesan Girls’ School. Isaac has also done private one-on-one and small group tutoring in Physics, Mathematics and Statistics at GCSE, GCE A-level, IB and junior and sophomore university levels.

Ivan obtained his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. While currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Manchester, he also works as a part-time cover supervisor for a high school in the UK. He has been an examiner for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program for eight years. He is experienced in teaching Science subjects at IGCSE/GCSE/IB/HKDSE levels.

Ivan had been the headmaster of one of the top international schools in Shenzhen, China. He has over 14 years of teaching experience in international schools, and over 20 years of experience as a tutor. Ivan also worked as a senior research associate at the University of Hong Kong. He published a research paper on how to enhance the quality of teaching at university. He and his lab mates also worked closely on improving cardiovascular imaging and cancer therapy. These research experiences have imbued him with extensive knowledge of drug chemistry and material science, making him an expert in real-world applications of chemistry, physics and mathematics. As some of you may know, how chemistry is applied in today’s society is an important part of I/GCSE Chemistry. Ivan’s knowledge and experiences will help his students prepare for challenges of the IB/GCE/IGCSE/GCSE/HKDSE exams.

Dr. Kristy holds a PhD in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. With over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students.

Dr. Kristy has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at universities and published numerous high-impact papers in esteemed academic journals. An award-winning scientist, Dr. Kristy has been interviewed by various media outlets on public health issues. She has also delivered talks at numerous seminars and conferences. Her overseas teaching experience has further enriched her global perspective and teaching approaches.

Over the years, Dr. Kristy has gained extensive experience teaching science subjects to students from local and international schools. She specializes in preparing students for IGCSE, GCSE, GCE A-level, IAL, IB, AP and HKDSE exams.

Dr. Kristy’s university research work made significant contributions to public health in testing surgical masks during the COVID pandemic. Work of this kind has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of scientific principles and their real-world applications. This expertise allows her to teach complex scientific concepts with clarity and relevance, using practical examples from daily life to enhance student understanding. A caring and patient educator, Dr. Kristy is dedicated to meeting her students’ specific needs and helping them achieve their academic goals with confidence.

Jordan graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a first class honours  Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutritional Science and a minor in Statistics. Prior to that, he took the IGCSE examination as well as the International AS and A Level examinations, focusing on Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.

He has previous teaching experience, working as a Cell Biology tutor for students at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is passionate about teaching natural sciences to students and dedicated to helping them excel in their examinations. He currently works as an analyst for an information services company in Hong Kong.

Sukriti attained a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hong Kong. She has also achieved top results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma, with a final score of 42/45 (grades of 7 in Biology HL, Chemistry HL and English Language and Literature). With over 8 years of tutoring experience, she has worked with local and international school students at IGCSE and IB levels. Sukriti is passionate about fostering a genuine interest in learning and promoting personal growth among her students. She is committed to enhancing the learning experience by simplifying complex concepts and questions. She provides comprehensive notes and exercises to ensure her students have a good grasp of the subjects.

Paul was awarded President’s Entrance Scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from York University in Canada.

He was teaching in a secondary school for more than 10 years. He used to be a Mathematics exam marker under the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority and has close to 30 years of experience teaching HKCEE/HKAL/HKDSE/IGCSE/GCSE/GCE/IB Mathematics.

Terry received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University and his Master of Science (Engineering) degree in Product Design and Management from the University of Liverpool. As a native English speaker who grew up in the UK, Terry has an in-depth knowledge of the different exam boards. He has more than five years of experience teaching IGCSE/GCSE/GCE/IB Physics and Mathematics to students from both local and international schools.

Terry was also a project design engineer who worked on new product R&D projects for international corporations such as P&G, Brita, Braun and Phillips. He was responsible for designing plastic and metal components on 3D CAD and leading design and manufacture projects from cradle to grave. His professional experience has helped him gain insights into real-world applications of Physics and Science.

He believes that students learn best when they are having fun! New information can then be learnt without stress and a difficult concept can be turned into an enjoyable challenge. His methods centre around specific exam boards, students’ abilities and current needs, ensuring his students leave each lesson better prepared.

Dr. KC Mok is currently on an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program at the University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Molecular Biomedical Sciences (First Class Honors) and minoring in Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biology. He later completed his PhD study in Medicine on the topic of targeted cancer therapy at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Mok achieved excellent results while at secondary school. During his university studies, he has earned a place on the Dean’s List and received many academic scholarships. He has over eight years’ experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics and is familiar with different public examination syllabuses. He is capable of teaching IGCSE/GCSE/HKDSE/GCE/IB Chemistry, Biology and Physics. With his deep knowledge of science and related experiences, as well as his notes and exercises, Dr. Mok is confident he can help students overcome difficulties and reach their study goals.

Dr. Mok has experience in the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) from HKU medical school, and his own preparation and materials for MMI could be useful to students who want to apply to medical schools in Hong Kong or overseas.

Amy graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She also received a Master of Philosophy degree in Medical Research from the University of Hong Kong. She has been working in medical research for more than 15 years. She also has about ten years’ experience teaching Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and English to secondary school students. She is able to provide learning materials aligned with the latest syllabuses of various exam boards, and she believes the best study method should be tailored to students’ abilities. With her rich experience in medical research, teaching experience and overseas background, she is capable of teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics up to IB/GCE A-levels and HKDSE English.

Mr Gan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London. He took Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics in GCE A-levels and achieved 5 A*s. When Mr Gan was in London, he also taught in a tutorial school. He wants to share his passion for Science and Mathematics with his students and help them realize that they, using their knowledge and skills, will be able to make the world a better place in future. Currently, Mr Gan is doing his PhD degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, working on metal catalysis and organic chemistry.

Wilkie completed his Master of Social Science in Applied Psychology program with distinction at City University of Hong Kong, where he was nominated for the outstanding student prize. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Food and Nutritional Science and Economics from the University of Hong Kong. While he was in secondary school, he achieved “A” in both HKALE Biology and Chemistry. Wilkie has experience teaching IB/ GCE/ IGCSE courses. He adopts an interactive approach and uses daily examples to illustrate psychological concepts and theories. Implications and applications of different psychological experiments are also discussed in class. He makes use of his extensive knowledge of psychology and science to help his students understand human beings from biological and psychological perspectives. Wilkie is capable of teaching Psychology and Biology to local and international school students up to IB/GCE/HKDSE levels.

Dr Gloria received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Chemistry from City University of Hong Kong. Besides teaching various undergraduate courses, including Inorganic Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry, she has more than five years’ experience teaching HKDSE/IGCSE/GCE/IB Chemistry to students from both local and international schools.

Dr Gloria also worked as a researcher at the university. Her research work includes sustainable and environmental technologies as well as pharmaceutical and drug development. The experience equipped her with a wide range of scientific knowledge and developed her expertise in applications of Chemistry and Science.

Dr. Gloria is a caring and patient teacher. She is good at explaining complicated Chemistry concepts using daily life examples. She is also able to meet her students’ specific needs and help them prepare for their Chemistry examination with confidence.

Chapman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Mathematics) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Chapman has some 20 years’ experience teaching students in local secondary schools and international classes on the Chinese mainland. He specialises in GCE/IGCSE/GCSE/IB Pure and Applied Mathematics, tutoring students in both private and group settings and providing them with comprehensive notes and exercises.

Justin graduated from Stanford University with a Master of Science degree (GPA: 3.95 / 4.0) in Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MBA degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He ranked first academically in his UBC graduating class. Before that, he received the highest grade of 5 in AP Calculus and AP Physics exams in addition to a perfect score of 800 in his SAT II Math test and excellent results in SAT I Math. He has five years of industry experience in engineering research and development in Sunnyvale, California and Vancouver.

Justin’s highly distinguished test scores bear testament to his superb examination skills and he is ready to share those skills with his students. He is capable of teaching IGCSE, GCSE, SAT and HKDSE Mathematics.
